About Brighter Days
Grief is part of a child’s story. It does not have to define their future.
We create compassionate, age-appropriate spaces where grieving children and teens can find connection, understanding, and hope.
Who we are
A Jacksonville community of care.
Brighter Days Children’s Grief Support serves children and teens ages 5–17 who are grieving the death of a parent, sibling, grandparent, family member, close friend, or other loved one.
Children do not always have the words to explain grief. It may appear as tears, silence, anger, worry, trouble at school, physical complaints, or questions that return again and again. Our role is to meet each child with patience, dignity, and care.
Our purpose
To walk alongside grieving children and families with compassion, practical support, and the steady reminder that they do not have to navigate loss alone.
We support expression and connection without placing a timetable on grief.
